ABOUT ME

How I founded a Yoga Health Centre!

I hold a BCom., MSc., researching Healthy Aging, and a Certificate in Yoga (YT200) with specialized training from Duke Integrative Medicine in yoga for seniors and ailments such as cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, and chronic pain.


My love for healthy living inspires me to research healthy aging topics especially in areas where yoga is utilized to help our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. With many years of practicing yoga and pilates… I found a healthy balance between physical activity, environmental integrity, and mental well-being.


On a quest for deeper personal development, I discovered Yoga is the consistent therapy I used for treatment, fitness, and healing. A sequence of events led me to an inspiring yoga teacher (Jason Lu, Yoga Tree Studios), who provided the tools and knowledge to advance my practice, uncover my passion and love for life-long learning. 


I found my calling through integrating teaching and healthy aging!

I have spoken at a variety of events and conferences. My dream for everyone to live a healthy lifestyle at any age allows me to passionately speak and educate the community

of the health benefits along with ways to minimize the risks of practicing yoga depending on the ailment and/or age.


I love to educate whether it is in group setting of one, fifty, or thousands! 


Yoga is often minimized to physical fitness benefits only but there are profound benefits that even the healthcare community is adopting as a form of treatment and therapy for patient care and healing.
